Better known for their crossbows, Horton entered the compound bow market with their Ascent model. This compound bow features a thirty inch axle to axle length, eight inches of draw length adjustment, a seven inch brace height, sixty five or eighty percent let-off and Horton's OS-3 cam system. The Horton Ascent model has an IBO speed rating of 310 fps.  This Ascent compound bow is very compact in size which makes it effective from the ground as well as from a treestand.  The Ascent is fitted with an ergonomic grip which makes for easy handling.
