Tips on shooting a compound bow

When you are shooting a Compound Bow the key is to be able to hold the bow at full draw as steadily as possible with no discomfort. While you are as comfortable as possible, everything else will flow in a workmanlike manner. As time permits, please practice holding your compound bow at full draw for extended periods of time while at the same time aligning your sights on a particular target. Concentrate and hold a completely steady posture.  Shooting a compound bow is much different from shooting a recurve or longbow especially in one manner, and that is the holding weight at full draw of the compound bow. When shooting a compound bow the body is under quite a bit of strain and it is very hard to stay comfortable and relax under these physical conditions.  Tips on shooting a compound bow will always be a continuing topic of discussion with all the new bow enthusiats entering the compound bow market.
